Download Python 2.7.x

Downloading and installing Python

  1. Go to the Python website.
  2. Download Python 2.7.x (don't use a higher version) from latest Python 2 Release. There is a table with updated instalation files of Python Release. The most important are two bottom rows.
  3. Run the installation of Python 2.7.x as administrator.
  4. Complete all steps and requirements.
  5. Finish Python´s installation and go to install App Engine.
