Setting a primary domain

Setting a primary domain

If your site has multiple custom domains, you'll need to pick one to act as your primary domain. The primary domain is the main address for your site.

All custom domains redirect to the primary, meaning visitors will always see that domain in the browser address bar no matter which domain they used.

The first custom domain you add to your site is automatically set as your primary domain. If you add more custom domains, that first domain will remain as your primary. To set a new primary domain, follow the steps below.

Registering a domain through NOTIF.cms gives your website a professional look and avoids the need to register a domain with a third-party provider. We've traditionally offered one free domain with the purchase of an annual NOTIF.cms plan, and now anyone with a paid NOTIF.cms site can register domains for $20 to $70 per year each.

You can change your newNOTIF.cms domain name within five days of registration. This involves starting over: cancelling the domain you just registered and replacing it with a new domain name. After five days, your domain name is permanent and can't be renamed.
